  • ICU Registry and Surveillance System

A registry is an organized system that uses observational study methods to collect uniform data to evaluate specific outcomes, to establish databases, to conduct further study and to improve quality. ICU data registry is recording information about patients during admission, health care they receive their prognosis and outcome during ICU stay. This allows health care professionals to see what treatment is available, and how patients with different characteristics respond to various treatments. This information can be used to improve quality care for patients in the future. Intensive care registries have been considered to play an important role in measuring and evaluating the outcomes of patient treatment and categorizing standards of services.
  • Clinical Trial : Randomized Embedded Multifactorial Adaptive Platform Trial (REMAP-CAP)

REMAP-CAP REMAP-CAP is a randomized, embedded, multifactorial, adaptive platform trial for community-acquired pneumonia. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of a range of interventions to improve outcome of patients admitted to intensive care with community-acquired pneumonia. In addition, REMAP-CAP provides and adaptive research platform for evaluation of multiple treatment modalities in the event of a respiratory pandemic such as COVID-19. REMAP-COVID is a sub-platform of REMAP-CAP that evaluates treatments specific to COVID-19.
